How do you maintain a Moto GP bike?

When you go out to the track to watch a MotoGP you see bikes pushed to their limits, lap after lap, but what does it take to make sure the bike itself survives the race?

A MotoGP bike is made up of over 2000 parts, and around 220 of those are constantly monitored and have limited mileage. Engineers from the racing team and the manufacturer carefully analyse the lifespan of each part, and know exactly when it is time to change it. The same goes for all the fluids that are involved and Motul specialists and teams engineer make sure they are replaced at just the right time.
