Super Sheffield for Team Green!

The Penultimate round of the Arenacross UK Tour took place at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday night with Team Green Holeshot Kawasaki scoring their best set of results this season to date. A packed audience witnessed some of the best racing of the Tour, on a sandy, yet excellent track.

With the competition being some of the toughest the Tour has seen, even making it into the Main Event has been tough for all the Pro riders. Past Champion, Adam Chatfield has been steadily finding his feet throughout the Tour and came into his own at Sheffield nailing a 4th place in the Final! With double points on offer at the final round this weekend at Wembley, all is to play for and we can guarantee the racing is going to be intense!

In the Pro Lites class, it took a lap one crash for anybody to stand a chance of beating Joe Clayton! Having lost a glove and being stuck at the back of the pack, Clayton still maned to rip through the field and ended up finishing Second. Determined to put things back to normal in race 2, he rode his KX250F like a demon and took the race win, setting himself up nicely for the title assault at the last round this coming weekend.

Newcomer to Team Green, Raife Broadley has been riding the wheels off his KX85 throughout the Tour, and Saturday didn't disappoint as he once again scored a very credible 4rd place in race 1 against significantly bigger and older competition. However disaster struck in race 2 as he suffered a technical fault on the line and couldn't start the race. He remains in 3rd place in the Championship and will be aiming to cement that position this weekend.

Team Green Holeshot Kawasaki now move to the final round of the Tour, which takes place at Wembley Arena this weekend, 17th February.
